Oh and guess who is officiating the Rockets-Warriors Game 2:

Veteran official Scott Foster has been assigned to Warriors-Rockets tonight.

Chris Paul, James Harden & Rockets have a long-running feud with Foster. He hasn’t worked a Rockets game since February, when Harden was fined for criticizing him after fouling out of a game in LA.

Here’s the deal. Refs are human. Humans are garbage like 99% of the time so of course Refs are going to carry grudges and be petty with players that they have clashed with previously. Fans know this. The stats literally show this to be the case.

SO OF COURSE THE LEAGUE KNOWS THIS!!!!!

Yet here we are with Ref assignments that boggle the mind. And save me all the “predetermined assignment” BS. It’s your league. Change which games these guys get. And if a guy has ridiculously lopsided record reffing one team then maybe maybe that’s worth investigating. And maybe that guy shouldn’t ref that particular team anymore.
